Primary writing paper with a dashed middle line
Print primary writing paper for a beginner: a top line, a dashed middle line and a bottom line, at the height you choose. Add a picture box for draw and write pages, and a name line.
Your worksheet:
The dashed middle line shows a beginner how tall each kind of letter is. Small letters such as a, c and e stay under it. Tall letters such as b, h and l go to the top line. Letters with tails, such as g and y, drop below the bottom line.
A picture box at the top turns a writing page into a story page. Ask your child to draw, tell you about it, and then write one sentence.
Choose the line height above and press Print. To keep a copy, choose “Save as PDF” as the printer.
It marks how tall the small letters are. It helps a child keep letters the same size.
Yes. Turn on “Picture box at the top”.
Yes. Print as many pages as you like, at home or in class.
“Letters are messy, start in the wrong place or face the wrong way”
Start at the Top is a full 10-day plan, with a short video that shows you every step. The goal: on day 10 your child starts every small letter in the right place, sits it on the line, and writes new words that you can read. It is the goal, not a promise.
