How to make your worksheet

  1. Pick a word list, or choose “Type your own words” and type them.
  2. Choose a star to color, a number, or nothing beside each word.
  3. Change the title if you like.
  4. Print. Read down the list together a few times a week.

The reading skill

Reading the same short list often builds quick, sure reading of the words that fill early books.

A star for each word

Your child colors the star when the word is read at once, with no sounding out.
