Your worksheet:

How to make your worksheet

  1. Type the letter of the week and, if you like, a sound such as sh.
  2. Type up to eight words.
  3. Type the name of the book, or leave it empty.
  4. Print. Read the board together each morning.

The reading skill

A short daily look at the same letter, sound and words is review, and review is what makes them stick.

A blank board to use again

Clear every box, print once and laminate. Write on it with a dry-erase marker each week.

Key pictures

The letter gets the picture for its sound. A sound such as sh gets a key word and its picture where we have one.
