Your worksheet:

How to make your worksheet

  1. Type the letters you want, or choose words and pick a list or type your own.
  2. Print one page for each crown.
  3. Color the letter. Cut out the front and the two bands on the dashed lines.
  4. Tape the bands to the front and to each other so the crown fits.

The reading skill

A child who wears a letter gets asked about it all day. Each time, the answer is the sound of the letter, or the word read out loud. That is a lot of practice for one piece of paper.

Made from real letter shapes

The hollow letter follows the same pen strokes as our tracing pages, so the shape your child colors is the shape your child will write.

Fitting it

The front and the two bands together are about 22 inches long. Overlap the ends until it fits, then tape or staple.
