First, second, third: count from the start
Make an ordinal numbers page. Each row is a line of pictures with a start arrow. Your child counts from the start and circles the one the word asks for: the first, the third, the fifth. A second kind of page joins 1st, 2nd and 3rd to the words first, second and third.
Your worksheet:
First depends on where you start. Every row has an arrow at the start, on the left, so the first picture is the one beside the arrow.
Line up five toys and ask for the second one, the fourth one. A child who can do it with toys can do it on paper.
First to tenth: first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth.
