Read the clock, write the time, draw the hands
Make a telling time page. Six clear clock faces show times on the hour, on the half hour, or a mix. Your child reads each clock and writes the time, or reads a time and draws the two hands. On the half hour the short hand stands halfway between two numbers, the way it does on a real clock.
Your worksheet:
The short hand shows the hour and the long hand shows the minutes. In color the short hand is pink and the long hand is blue. In black and white you tell them apart by their length.
Start with times on the hour, where the long hand points straight up to 12. Half hours come next: the long hand points down to 6, and the short hand has moved halfway to the next number.
Every hour from 1:00 to 12:00 and every half hour from 1:30 to 12:30.
