Numbers 1 to 20 sample page

Help your child understand each number, not just say it.

A child needs to see how many each number means, not just say the numbers in order. Every page shows the number on a ten frame, gives real things to count, then moves to tracing, writing and finding the missing number.

Who it is for

Preschool, pre-K and kindergarten children who are learning to count and write numbers, usually ages 3 to 6. Good for home, homeschool, morning work and math centers.

Good questions

What is a ten frame?

A grid of ten boxes with dots in it. It helps a child see a number as “five and some more” or “ten and some more”, which makes adding easier later.

Do I have to do the numbers in order?

No. Print the numbers your child needs most, and print a page again for extra practice.

What exactly do I download?

The same 22 pages as PDF files in full color and in ink-saving black and white, each sized for US Letter paper and for A4. Print whichever suits you.

How do I get it?

The button takes you to a secure checkout run by Gumroad. As soon as you pay you can download the files, and a link is emailed to you as well.

Can I use it with my class?

Yes. Print as often as you like for your own children or your own class.
