How to make your worksheet

  1. Type your spelling words, one on each line, or pick a ready word set.
  2. Choose one activity, or “A full set” to get one page of each kind.
  3. Print. Use a different page each day of the week and the test paper at the end.

Look, cover, write, check

Your child looks at the word and says it, covers it, writes it from memory, then uncovers it and checks letter by letter. A word that was wrong is written once more.

Five to ten words is enough

A short list learned well stays learned. Lists of fifteen or more are for older grades.

Good questions

How many spelling words can I use?

Up to 20. Ten words fit on one page for most activities; more words run on to a second page.

Can I make a spelling test paper?

Yes. Choose “Test paper with numbered lines” and the number of lines. The words are not shown on the test paper.

Can two answers be right in the missing letters page?

No. The missing letters are chosen so that each puzzle fits only one word in your list, and the word bank at the top lets your child check.

Is it free?

Yes, with no sign-up and no limit.
