Tens and ones with base-ten blocks
Make a place value worksheet. On the counting page, each box shows base-ten blocks: long rods of ten and small cubes of one. Your child counts the rods and the cubes, writes the tens and the ones, and then the number. On the second page, each box shows a number, and your child writes how many tens and ones it has.
Your worksheet:
A rod of ten is ten cubes stuck together. When a child sees that 34 is three rods and four cubes, the 3 in 34 means three tens, not three.
Counting to 100 and the teen numbers. The teen numbers worksheets show ten and some more.
Two-digit numbers from 11 to 99.
