Mixed practice: reading, writing and math on a few pages
Make a summer review for a child who has finished kindergarten. The pages open with a mix of what the year covered: sight words to read, a sentence to trace, short words to match and finish, a sentence to put in order, adding and taking away within 10, ten frames, a number line and counting. Change any block, take one out or add your own, and print.
Your worksheet:
Sight words, a sentence to trace, read and match with pictures, missing letters, a sentence scramble, adding within 10, taking away within 10, ten frames, a number line with missing numbers, counting pictures and writing lines.
Every block can be changed. If the short words are easy, type harder ones. If taking away is new, take that block out and copy the adding block.
The words that open in the blocks are short words where each letter says its usual sound, and first sight words. A word with one of our pictures shows its picture.
It opens as a few pages of mixed practice. Press “New version” for new sums and a new order of pictures, and print again for another day.
The blocks that open fit the end of kindergarten. You can change every block, but we do not have ready pages for other grades here.
Yes. Pick a kind of block under “Add a block” and press Add.
Yes, with no sign-up and no limit.
No maker matches that yet. Clear the box to see them all.
“Behind in reading” can mean eleven different things, and each one needs different help. Check off what is true for your child. You will see what to work on first, and what can wait.
