Count by 2s, 5s and 10s to 100
Make a skip counting page. Your child counts by 2s, 5s or 10s and writes the numbers that are missing in each row. The rows start easy and leave out more numbers further down the page. Or print a hundred chart and color every number that is said.
Your worksheet:
Count out loud together first: 2, 4, 6, 8. A child who can say the row can soon write it. The hundred chart shows the pattern: 5s make two stripes, 10s make one.
Counting by 2s, 5s and 10s is how children later count coins, tell the time and learn the first times tables.
To 100. The 2s take five rows from 2 to 100, the 5s take two rows, and the 10s take one row.
